Kanin Ski Resort offers a breathtaking experience for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The live camera capturing the magnificent view of Mount Prevala, adding to the allure of the surroundings.
As you ascend the gondola lift to Kanin's second station, a panorama of the entire Bovec Valley unfolds before you. The mountain amphitheater, encompassing the town of Bovec, is a sight to behold. Take a moment to savor the crisp mountain air and admire the valley below and the mountains above.

A short walk through the forest leads you to a stone open-top aqueduct known as Mulatera. This historical marvel was constructed during World War I to supply the front lines in the Isonzo battles. Once again, you'll be captivated by the panoramic views of the Bovec Valley, the surrounding forests, and Mount Krnica towering above. If luck is on your side, you might spot adventurous zipliners descending towards the valley or paragliders gliding from the starting point in Planja on the opposite slope.

In the tranquility of the Kanin forest, interrupted only by the melodic tunes of birds, you'll reach a small stream carved into the rocks millions of years ago. While the riverbed is dry for most of the year, its beautifully weathered appearance is sure to catch your attention.
Continue along a well-maintained trail that gently slopes through the forest, offering another splendid view of the Bovec Basin, this time towards the southwest. From here, you can admire the golf course and meandering Soča River, with scenes reminiscent of the filming location of "The Chronicles of Narnia" at the mouth of the Gljun stream. Gradually, you descend into the village of Plužna, sheltered by the shade of the forest.
